I. Introduction
Grounding system plays a crucial role in electrical equipment systems as a safety measure for equipment and humans. Its importance is particularly evident during internal disturbances such as overvoltage, overload, and short circuits and external disturbances such as lightning strikes [1]. A low resistance grounding value is highly recommended for grounding systems, and the resistance value is influenced by the Soil’s specific resistance, which can vary due to factors such as temperature, humidity, and chemical substances in the earth. A standard grounding system enables disturbance current to be quickly dissipated into the ground, effectively preventing damage to electrical equipment. A grounding system can be considered normal and meets safety requirements if its resistance is less than 5 ohms [2].
