I. Introduction
3D automotive radars provide measurements of distance, azimuth angle, and radial velocity and have widespread applications in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The advantages that radars provide extended sensing range and penetrating ability and are resilient to adverse weather conditions make radars well suited for autonomous driving applications [1]–[5]. With radial velocity measurements from automotive radars, moving targets such as cars, trucks, and buses can be tracked robustly [6].
