I. Introduction
Descriptor systems are widely used to model a large class of physical, biological, economic and other systems (see, e.g., [1], [2], [3]). Compared to the standard representation (based on Ordinary Differential Equations (ODEs) only) descriptor systems contain both, dynamic and algebraic equations, which bring some benefits (e.g., some descriptor systems cannot be represented by using ODEs only; descriptor models can preserve physical parameters, etc.).
