I. Introduction
QoS controls ensure each user that its allocated band-width is always available, even if all other users are currently using their own maximum allocated bandwidth. As a result, these networks often have a significant amount of excessive idle bandwidth, as it is impossible that all users will be actively always using the network at all times. This bandwidth is wasted, and the cost of operating and maintaining the chan-nel has not yet been paid. This leads to the question of how to make use of all this extra bandwidth efficiently while main-taining the minimum guaranteed bandwidth required by the users [3]. One technology that solves this problem is SDN.
