I. Introduction
Modern societies rely tremendously on electrical energy. Moreover, power system recovery is extremely expensive. These reasons make power system blackouts one of the most problematic concerns for both the power business and customers. In the past, multiple cascading blackouts have occurred in electric power networks. These occurred due to frequency instability caused by an imbalance between the electrical load and power supply or N-1 contingency [1]. After the proliferation of renewable energy sources (RESs) with low system inertia, this issue has intensified in recent years.
