Abstract:
The conformal array antenna can keep the same shape as the carrier surface, which in turn can reduce the radar scattering cross-sectional area (RCS). In addition, it can expand the scanning range and improve space utilization, which has a broad application prospect. Beam formation is one of the important research directions of array antennas, which can achieve high gain, low sub flap, and even specific zero-trapped directional maps with practical applications. However, the traditional beamforming algorithm applied to the conformal array for beam optimization has the problem of high side flaps. In this paper, the baffle model is established mainly using the directed array elements, and the convex optimization theory is used to achieve a two-dimensional beam with low partials and zero-trapping formation in the direction of interference under specific main flap constraints.
