I. Introduction
Harmonics-related power quality issues has been documented ever since the advent of AC power system. However, the issue was not significant as most of the grid-connected load are linear load which does not generate harmonics. As industries started to utilize more high-power power electronics after their introduction, harmonics gradually posed a threat to the integrity of the grid. Loads and devices with power electronics are generally classified as nonlinear loads. Especially in modern times, power electronics are widely used in various industries and applications as drives and converters.
