I. Introduction
Recently, there has been a great interest in wireless ad-hoc sensor networks. Such ad-hoc sensor networks find applications in military, animal tracking, environmental control etc. In these practical applications, they are expected to detect, track and classify objects [1]. For example, a set of sensors can be randomly distributed in an area where a target of interest is moving and expect to detect and track the target by self-forming a wireless ad-hoc sensor network.
