I. Introduction
A New tokamak machine SST-1 is under construction now at the Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar, India [1]. The main parameters of SST-1 are as follows: major radius m; minor radius m; vertical elongation ; triangularity . The main toroidal field at the axis is T, maximum field at the coils T; the plasma current kA with the pulse duration up to 1000 s. The toroidal as well as the equilibrium and shaping coils will be superconducting, while the inductor will be a conventional one. Main Parameters of CICC
