I. Introduction
Generally, the aircraft structures are designed as large thin walled ribbed stiffened components. It often is machined to spars, ribs, and stringers by large blank material. The metal material is cut by 90–95%. The machined aircraft structures include ribs and spars in a civil aircraft manufacture corporation. These are shown in fig.1. In case of these thin walled components, when the desired thickness of some part to produce is 1.5 to 3 mm, structure rigidity becomes very poor and chances of deflection and distortions enhance. Therefore, in order to attain the accuracy of these parts, it is imperative to adopt the distortion control strategies and remedial measures during the machining operations.
