I. INTRODUCTION
Over decades, a great deal of effort has been devoted to studying the simultaneous stabilization problem formulated initially in [1] and [2]. Simultaneous stabilization has been shown to be relevant to several important systems and control problems including strong stabilization [3], model reduction [4], and robust stabilization [5], and has found widespread practical applications such as nonlinear control for helicopters [6], chemical process control [7], fault-tolerant control [8].
