I. Introduction
A Workflow Management System (WfMS) is defined as a system that (partially) automates the definition, creation, execution, and management of work processes through the use of software that is able to interpret the process definition, interact with workflow participants, and invoke the use of IT tools and applications. Furthermore, the platforms for WfMSs' deployment and enactment have been swiftly evolving into the distributed computing environments, such as clustering, grid, P2P and cloud computing environments. Particularly, in the paper, as a platform, we consider the enterprise workflow grid[18] and the enterprise workflow cloud[18] computing environments. Note that the fragments of workflow models are disseminated over the workflow enactment nodes of the platform, and that their enactment event logs formatted in XML are recorded onto themselves.
