1. Introduction
The National Research and Education Network (NREN) is a dedicated Internet service provider that supports the requirements of the research and education communities within a country. It is supported by a high-speed backbone network that normally offers dedicated channels for individual research projects. Consequently, researchers and educators will be provisioned with a higher bandwidth network with no interruption from background traffic. If NRENs are properly implemented, it could be used in future as a test-bed for new technologies, applications and governing policies that will lead to a larger national network [1]. Due to the rapid growth of the global Internet, users are demanding an improvement of traditional techniques for storage of data in order to retrieve required information in a convenient way. This scenario has led to the development of web servers which are capable in securely sharing data and provides fast access to on-line information. However, the bandwidth of typical commercial networks needs to be shared among its many subscribers. Thus, most researchers developed the system over the NRENs which are well known with the high speed network.
