I. Introduction
Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy has long been used to obtain information on molecular structures. Among nuclei with NMR capability, carbon-13 and phosphorus have been of particular interest. Carbon-13 found in organic compounds is used extensively in metabolic studies such as glucose labeling, and phosphorus has diagnostic importance in myocardial and central nervous system diseases. This work is based on phosphorus; however it is easily applicable to carbon-13 with minimal design alterations.
