1 INTRODUCTION
Complex processes are often described by large models, considered as good reality approximations. However, decision support, exploratory analysis and rapid adaptive calculations frequently require easy to understand and explain representations. A simulation metamodel ([5]) is a model of the simulation model, and exposes the fundamental nature of the system's input-output relationship through a simple mathematical function. Graphical representations of the metamodel are also useful for providing a simple and easy form to analyze and communicate.
