I. Introduction
The giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) attracts special interest owing to the large sensitivity (up to 600%) of the electrical impedance of magnetic conductor to the dc magnetic field [1], [2]. Initially, the GMI effect has been interpreted in terms of the classical skin effect in a magnetically soft conductor under the dc applied magnetic field. Later, more detailed approximation taking into account the tensor character of the magnetic permeability and GMI response has been developed [3].
