1. Introduction
So far, MANETs have been mainly considered for military (interactions among soldiers grouped around commanding officers, moving in a battlefield) or civil protection (disaster recovery) environments, but it is possible to envision many more agreeable environments that could be the killer application for the MANET. It can be assumed that in a few years many people will be equipped with cellular phones with WiFi functionalities and cameras to take pictures and movies, mainly young people, sensitive to the new devices and applications. We can easily envision groups of people meeting and exchanging information during cultural, religious and sporting happenings.
